The BRIDGE Project (Bridging Resources for Inclusive Development and Green Entrepreneurship) is a targeted micro-loan initiative designed to facilitate financial inclusion by providing micro-loans to start-ups and SMEs, empowering them to scale operations, create jobs, and contribute to economic development. It aims at providing affordable, accessible financing (€500–€10,000) to underserved SMEs and start-ups, prioritize women, youth, and rural entrepreneurs to foster inclusive growth, integrate business management and financial literacy training to improve business sustainability, leverage digital platforms for faster loan processing and repayments, and establish a revolving fund to ensure long-term impact.
By combining Micro-loans with Capacity Building and Coaching, this initiative will bridge the gap between ambition and opportunity, ensuring that no viable business is left behind due to lack of capital. By addressing both financial and knowledge gaps, the BRIDGE Project envisages to increase business survival rates by 85%+ sustainability after 3 years, Create 1,500+ jobs in 5 years, boost local economic resilience by empowering small businesses.
